Please pray for my friend Kim’s husband Bill - when Bill was in his 30’s, he was dx with Hodgkins Lymphoma - and has had a clean bill of health all these years - well he’s been having back pain for months - Kim has been after him to see the Dr - since they are leaving next week for Hawaii to visit their daughter, he decided he should go and get a cortisone shot or something - well his physician sent him right for an MRI - they are waiting for the report - please pray that it’s just something that maybe medication can give him relief, and nothing more alarming. Interestingly we just received a prayer request for Pat (below) that includes the Healing Prayer written by Fr Larry Hess who recently passed away - he had Hodgkins Lymphoma years ago as well - so when Bill was dx, Fr. Hess spent some time with Bill. Thanks for praying. xoxo

"Heavenly Father, I call on You right now in a special way. It is through Your power
that Pat was created. Every breath he takes, every morning he wakes and every moment of every hour, he lives under Your power.
"For if You created Pat from nothing, You can certainly re-create him.
Fill him with the healing power of Your spirit. Cast out anything that should not be in him. Mend what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open up any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.
"Let the warmth of Your healing love pass through
Pat's body to make new any unhealthy areas so that his body will function the way You created it to function.
"And Father, restore Pat to full health in mind, body and spirit,
so he may serve You the rest of his life.
"I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen."
