Sunday while celebrating his team's bronze medal win in the state special Olympic basketball tournament my brother Richard fell off a curb and broke his leg in numerous spots. He was bout 3 hours from home so they braced the leg and sent him home.
We saw the orthopedic surgeon today. It's a really bad break and will require surgery. He's scheduled for Friday morning. After that it's off to rehab until he's healed as he won't be able to put any weight in that leg. And will need 24 hour supervision.
We really need him healthy for the cubs home opener on April 4th.
