Jackie Lithgow beaten by punk football players, in coma

Sylvia:

I know it will be very helpful to ask your prayer group to add Jackie Lithgow and his family to your prayers.   You may have heard about the teenager injured trying to break up a fight near Bloomsburg University a few weeks ago.  Four football players from Kutztown crashed a party and would not leave quietly.  Instead, one of the players punched Jackie  in the face completely catching him off-guard and causing him to fall into the street and fracture his skull and cause extreme head injury.  He has not woken from a coma but has started to show signs of awareness.

Jackie is the freshman son of my John's close college friend.   He has known Jackie's mom and dad, Jim and Lisa Lithgow for 30 plus years and they are an amazing family and a gift to their community.  Everyone loves them and Jackie and his sister Lindsay.

There are many on-line articles written about the incident but I hope you will also share the following link to the fundraising page for the family.  They have been staying bedside at a hotel near the hospital since the incident:  http://www.gofundme.com/75frh0

Thanks – Love,

Nicole
